Scottish Wedding Ceremony

Interfaith Ceremonies - Completely personal and entirely flexible.

If you're getting married in Scotland, choosing an interfaith celebrant is probably the most flexible option available. We hold legal ceremonies which are completely personal and reflect and respect whatever is important and meaningful to you both - religious, non-religious, spiritual, humanist or something in-between. And you can honour the traditions of your wider family too.

Each ceremony is created for the couple getting married, it can be simple or elaborate, light-hearted or romantic. You can include music, readings and symbolic gestures from any source - non-religious or religious, and you can include rituals such as hand-fasting, unity candle, ring-warming or sharing a drink from a quaich. Your vows can be traditional or contemporary and we can support you to write your own words.

We have a network of more than 40 Interfaith Ministers and Celebrants across Scotland, from Dumfries to Skye. Come and chat to our celebrants Barbara Campbell and Jane Patmore
